F.A.T.A. project – Fire Air Earth Water – starts from primary elements and focuses on the contrast between wish and reality, between an analytic and holistic vision, as between the left and wright brain’s parts centering the critical observation of these visions, because is vision that condition reality.
FIRE A burning wood and an ancient angel face (taken from the sculpture of a fontain) targeted by contemporaries soldiers. The look brings suffering for humanity, an awareness about its defeat for the inability to superate conflicts. AIR Also this paintings is divided in two parts: in one the will is mapping the sky, light, codifyng it in a constellations’ system, on the other we immerse ourselves in a windy forest with flags where a little girl plays with air inside her big soap bubble.
EARTH From an ancient cinese fabric a garden of delights with waterfalls, deer watering, pagodas, drawn in gold. In the right side a chinese rural landscape taken from a satellite photo: a parched earth without tress is used as a fertiliser and seed support table, a totally subjugated nature: the production logic that characterizes the present. A letal contrast between the archetypal representation and reality: in the first plan a chinese little girl suffering from cancer. WATER Two parts: right as an immersion in intimacy of the bend of a shady river where children venture happily inside a small boat, in the other topographical profiles, level curves and the river’s bed. A double look: one immersive and the other rational that wants to control and misure every stratigraphical detail. The children passed the river (Muson) in 1931 and the water still flows, surpassing this human duplicity.

PARADISI AND PARADISI 2
In the centre the big Van Gogh’s “Cherry tree” welcomes to the left a Paradise on which Eva is lying in the act of eating the forbidden fruit (from Gisleberto bas-relief) or Adam and Eve collecting the forbidden apple. Here is originated in the jewish-christian culture the original sin: the guilt pervades the vision on Paradise. On the right an oriental vision: an arboreal world crossed by men and animals’ stories (from a Chinese tapestry). You can breath primary innocence, playful. A green little monkey look up irrelevant these different worlds, playing a flute. The same makes Pulcinella’s mask. A little girl (Paradisi 2) flies hanging outside the paintings borders and seems to detach and rise far away in a future paradise.
OTHER WORKS - memories of the earth, unstable, overturned, sometimes insidious visions
